Florida Ladies Mid-State Golf Tournament:

Sadly, after 53 years, the Florida Ladies Mid-State Golfers made a decision to retire the club.

It was first organized in 1965 with the following five golf clubs as participants: Gainesville Country Club, Golden Hills, Inverness, Paradise (Crystal River) later known as the Plantation and Silver Lake Golf Club.

As years went by, five more clubs joined in: Brooksville, Mission Inn, Pine Meadows, Rainbow Springs and Seven Rivers.

In addition, the past 18 years, several more clubs joined in the Mid-State Tournaments.
